Locum Tenens Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) Jobs – Night Shift in Cleveland, Ohio

Advance your nursing career with a 13-week travel nursing contract on the Neuro Stepdown unit at a leading hospital in Cleveland, Ohio (zip 44195). This assignment provides specialized cardiac and neurological care.

Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Unit: Neuro Stepdown (H62/H63)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens, Travel Nurse Contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/15/2025)
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250–$2,310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Neuro Stepdown RN experience (travel nurse experience accepted)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license
• American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications (current)
• NIH Stroke Certification
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Neuro Stepdown specialty
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Availability to work at least every other holiday

Cardiac Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro Stepdown unit, monitoring cardiac and neurological status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition; administer medications safely
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Participate in orientation and ongoing competency modules
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
