Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Neuro Stepdown Unit travel nurse for winter coverage at the Main Campus Hospital. The assignment runs for 20 weeks (13-week options possible) with a night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.

A minimum of 18 months Neuro Stepdown experience and an Ohio or compact license is required, along with BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications and ECG rhythm recognition. Travel experience is acceptable; orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and a SafeMedicate assessment.

Qualifications

• 18+ months of Neuro Stepdown experience, preferably at one facility
• Minimum 18 months recent Neuro Stepdown; travel experience OK
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or equivalent)
• Available to work at least every other holiday
