Job summary

Broward Health Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care under physicians’ plans, administer medications, monitor patient progress, and report reactions to therapies.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians with examinations and preparing equipment for use. Minimum requirements include an Associate degree in Nursing and a Florida RN license, with 3–4 years RN experience and ACLS/NRP

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• 3–4 years RN experience.
• ACLS and NRP certifications.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per physician plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assess patient condition and monitor progress.
• Assist physicians during examinations and prepare instruments.

Summary: Under general supervision renders professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being of patients. In doing so assesses patients' condition administers prescribed drugs provides treatments observes patients' progress records pertinent observations and report’s reaction to drugs and treatments. Assists physicians with examinations and prepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use.
