Job summary

Birmingham Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking an RN to provide direct resident care, monitor progress, and collaborate with the team to tailor care plans. You will lead CNAs, help ensure accurate documentation, and support physicians in clinical decisions.

We value compassionate communication, infection control, and sound clinical judgment. Alabama RN license and CPR are required; LTC experience is a plus, with new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama.
• Experience in long-term care preferred; new grads considered.
• Strong clinical documentation and resident-care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and monitor their condition.
• Assess residents, help update care plans, and flag changes early.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and on time.
• Lead and support CNAs, setting the shift pace.
• Collaborate with physicians to make best resident care decisions.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
• Be a calm point of contact for residents and families.
• Maintain infection control practices and unit readiness for surveys.
