Redmont Health and Rehabilitation Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team. You will provide direct resident care, administer medications, and support our clinical staff in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

Active Alabama RN licensure is required; experience in long-term care is preferred. This full-time or PRN position offers opportunities to grow with a dedicated team focused on quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama is required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are needed.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor resident conditions including vital signs and changes in status.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Work closely with LPNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapy staff.
• Support residents with daily care needs as needed.
• Participate in care planning and family meetings.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Help train and support new nursing staff.

RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN)license in Alabama
