Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead clinical supervision and care coordination in a continuing care community in Gorham, Maine. The RN will oversee medication administration, participate in admissions, and develop care plans tailored to residents' needs.

The role requires an active RN license and CPR, 1+ year of relevant experience, and strong communication with residents, families, and staff. Comprehensive benefits and daily pay are available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two years related experience.
• Area of Study: Nursing.
• 1+ years of experience in skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting.
• Current RN license in the practicing state with no judgments, CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication supervision and administration per regulations and company guidelines.
• Assist with admissions assessments and documentation for new residents.
• Develop acute and long-term care or service plans.
• Monitor clinical indicators (e.g., wounds, infection control) under the Director of Nursing.
• Coordinate discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.
• Provide health-related consultations within the community and notify physicians or families of changes.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and communicate with staff and residents' families.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information and participate in Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Job Description

• Responsible for medication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
• Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school: or Two years related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.

Area of Study: Nursing

Years of Experience: 1+ years

Type of Experience: skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting

Special Certifications: Must have a Registered Nurse’s License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing and must be CPR certified

Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.

Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills
