Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Per Diem role servicing seniors in Baltimore, Carroll, and Harford County, Maryland. Work 2 to 3 days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm in a community-based home health setting.

Must have current HH/Oasis experience and be able to travel to cases as assigned. Benefit from team support, career development, and a pathway for advancement within BAYADA.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of one year of clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Per Diem requires home health experience or willingness to learn.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to travel to cases within designated geographic areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan tailored to patient needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated Maryland territories.
• Administer medications, perform wound care and procedures as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Document doctors' orders and clinical observations accurately.
• Conduct client assessments and coordinate case management.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a Per Diem opportunity throughout Baltimore, Carroll & Harford County, Maryland.

This per diem position is to service seniors under their home health benefit but within a community setting – it’s home health without the typical home health commute!

Must be available Monday thru Friday between 8:30am-5:00pm (Per Diem requires working 2 to 3 days per week).

Per Diem requires current HH/Oasis experience.

As a home care Registered Nurse, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information:
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications:
$52.00-$56.00 per point.
