Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per-diem home health visits across Montgomery County, Maryland. The role follows a patient care plan with 1:1 attention and visits Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm.

The position emphasizes flexible scheduling, independent work, and strong teamwork with Clinical and Client Services Managers. Nurses provide medication administration, wound care, and assessments in senior living facilities and client homes.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to travel to assigned cases.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Perform home visits to clients within geographic territories.
• Administer medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to Clinical Services Manager.
• Document doctors' orders and care observations accurately.
• Conduct client assessments and coordinate case management.
• Maintain accurate documentation with the EMR tablet.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the‑art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland .
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications: $55.00-$62.00 per point.
