Job summary

CASA in Indiana is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct nursing care for residents on a nursing unit. You will supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, and document care per physician orders. This role requires teamwork and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include rounds, IV/wound/catheter care, admissions and discharges, and maintaining a safe, efficient unit during each shift. Competitive benefits are offered with this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state
• Current CPR certification
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required
• dependable, team-first approach with residents' respect

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• Supervise and support the nursing assistants on your unit
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered
• Chart care and complete admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Take physician orders and make rounds as needed
• Provide IV care, wound care, tube feedings, and catheter care
• Keep your unit calm, safe, and running smoothly each shift
