Job summary

Chalet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Indiana is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local standards as required by the Director of Nursing.

The RN will lead day-to-day operations, admit and discharge residents, document care, administer medications, maintain resident privacy, and collaborate across departments to sustain a warm, safe and high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Plan shift services, reports and staffing for the unit.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel on the unit.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
