Qualifications

• WA state nursing license required.

Responsibilities

• Care for students with chronic conditions by coordinating with families, teachers and clinicians.
• Provide 1:1 nursing support including g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetes management, and seizure precautions.
• Maintain immunization records and ensure state compliance.
• Provide first aid and emergency care and develop emergency response plans.
• Maintain confidential health records and communicate health status with parents.
• Assist with mobility and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution, etc
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
