Job summary

Ro Health is hiring Registered Nurses to work in public school districts in Washington for the school year. This in-person role offers a schedule that fits your lifestyle and opportunities for development.

Responsibilities include managing care for students with chronic conditions, 1:1 support, immunization record management, first aid and emergency care, and creating emergency response plans. New grads welcome and encouraged to apply, with administrative and clinical support, plus credentialing

Qualifications

• Pediatric nursing and school health experience preferred.
• Care coordination and collaboration with teachers and families.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution, etc
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
