Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a licensed LPN or RN to support students in local schools in Tacoma. This in-person role follows school hours, Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for career development.

You will manage care for students with chronic conditions, maintain immunization records, provide first aid, and coordinate with families, teachers, and healthcare providers. PTO, benefits, and a supportive team are included.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Overview:

• In-person
• Schedule : M-F 8am-3pm (school hours)
• Compensation:
  • LVN - $34-38/hr
  • RN - $40-45/hr

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
