Position Summary

The Women’s Services unit is a 32-bed unit providing care in Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (4), Postpartum/GYN (15), and Nursery (13).

• Perform care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Educate patients and families tailored to their needs.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.

License

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Kentucky.
