Position Summary:

The Women’s Services unit is a 32-bed unit providing care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum/GYN, and Nursery.

• Performs care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and treatments.
• Documents patient care accurately.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists with activities of daily living and patient education.
• Collaborates across disciplines for coordinated care, transfer, discharge, and psychosocial support.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate’s degree in nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire

License:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Kentucky
