Position Summary

The Women’s Services unit is a 32-bed unit providing care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum/GYN, and Nursery. Responsibilities include:

• Performing care interventions, medication administration, specimen collection, and treatments.
• Documenting patient care.
• Monitoring and communicating patient conditions.
• Assisting with activities of daily living.
• Collaborating across disciplines for comprehensive care.
• Providing patient and family education.
• Advocating for patient well-being.

Education

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.

License

• RN license to work in Kentucky required.
