Job summary

Lifepoint Health’s Twin County Regional Hospital in Virginia is seeking an RN for the Women’s Services unit. You will perform patient assessments, implement nursing interventions, and document medical necessity while contributing to interdisciplinary care planning.

The role requires an active Virginia RN license (single-state or compact), BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. Associate degree required; BSN preferred. Competitive benefits and development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire, or before orientation.
• ACLS, PALS & NRP and Handle With Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will:

What we're looking for

Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

Additional requirements include:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire
• ACLS, PALS & NRP and Handle With Care preferred

Hourly Range: $31.49 - $40.38
