Clinch Valley Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse for Women’s Services/Nursery at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA. You’ll provide compassionate obstetric and newborn care in a modern antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery and nursery setting.

The role requires Virginia RN license, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring credentials, plus labor and delivery experience; you’ll work full-time days with rotating weekends and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• NRP certification within 30 days of hire.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within two years and within one year of hire.
• 6 months of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct accurate patient assessments and identify care needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care aligned with patient condition and age.
• Document medical necessity and care plans in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Clinch Valley Medical Center offers modern antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and nursery care surrounded in a close to home community. In this position, the Registered Nurse will help guide families through one of life's biggest moments, building real connections in a warm, close-knit team.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What we're looking for

Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days
• NRP is required within 30 days
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring is required every two years and within one year of hire
• 6 months of previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred

Hourly Range

$33.64 to $44.81
