Job summary

Clinch Valley Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time days with on-call requirements in Richlands, VA. The hospital provides expansive services and a strong commitment to patient safety and outcomes.

You will assess patients, deliver comprehensive PACU care, document medical necessity, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan to support exceptional patient care in a busy acute-care setting.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

What we're looking for

Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire

Hourly Range:

$33.64 to $44.81
