Job summary

The Greens at Gastonia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Wound Nurse to join our long-term care nursing team in Gastonia, NC. This role focuses on high-quality wound care with a consistent 12-hour weekend schedule and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Ideal candidates hold a North Carolina RN license, have wound care experience, and demonstrate strong assessment and documentation skills to support resident wellbeing. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN license.
• Wound care experience is required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents with wounds and skin concerns.
• Provide wound treatments according to physician orders and care plans.
• Complete accurate wound assessments and clinical documentation.
• Monitor healing progress and identify changes in resident condition.
• Communicate concerns to physicians and nursing leadership.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care team.
• Assist with preventing skin breakdown and promoting positive wound outcomes.
• Ensure wound care supplies and treatments are maintained.

The Greens at Gastonia is a Long-Term Care facility committed to providing individualized, quality care and rehabilitation to our residents. We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Wound Nurse to join our nursing team.

What You'll Do

As our Weekend Wound Nurse, you will:

• Assess and monitor residents with wounds and skin concerns
