Overview

Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for a passionate, dedicated RN to provide end-of-life care to patients at home on weekends in Elmont, Garden City, Hempstead, Manhasset, Roslyn and the surrounding areas.

Weekend shifts: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Details

Our Hospice RN is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent hands-on experience
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Current, valid NY State driver's license and own transportation

Salary Range

USD $55.00 - $70.00 / hr. Salary may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. This range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay or other compensation.
