Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a compassionate RN to deliver end-of-life care to patients in their homes across Elmont, Garden City, Hempstead, Manhasset, Roslyn, and nearby areas. Weekend shifts run 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with emphasis on symptom management and comfort in a home setting.

The ideal candidate holds a NY RN license, has at least 1 year of hands-on experience, BLS certification, and a valid NY driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of one year of recent hands-on experience.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current, valid NY State driver's license and own transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to hospice patients in their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control.
• Deliver weekend end-of-life care shifts (8:30 AM–4:30 PM) in Elmont, Garden City, Hempstead, Manhasset, Roslyn and surrounding areas.
• Uphold hospice concepts, policies and procedures and coordinate with families and care teams.
