Cascade Senior Care Center in Jackson, MI is seeking compassionate LPNs to join our EPIC team. We offer great staff ratios and supportive management, with 2nd shift earning up to $41.40 per hour plus shift premiums.

This full-time or part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and a positive healing environment. Responsibilities include wound care, IV therapy, medications administration, and supervising Nurse Aide staff.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Michigan with CPR certification.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions.
• Perform treatments such as wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications and advise on changes to medications and treatment plans.
• Provide preventative and supportive care for patient well-being.
• Oversee Nurse Aide team, provide direction, training, and evaluations.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting Wage for LPN: $29.15 - $33.00 per hour (based on years of certification!)
• Plus $4-5 per hour Shift Premium for 2nd or 3rd shifts!

Working Hours & Scheduling

• 8-hour or 12-hour shifts - all shifts include rotating weekends and holidays.
• Full Time or Part Time positions available
• 2nd shifts include $5.00 shift premium!
• Days or Afternoons available (1st or 2nd shift)

Responsibilities

• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.

Qualifications / Requirements

• A current license to practice as an LPNin the state of Michigan; current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
