Job summary

Wellbridge of Pinckney is seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Manager for the 2nd shift to lead and coordinate clinical care on a designated unit within the centre's 24-hour operation. The RN will supervise nursing staff, conduct rounds, and ensure quality care while fostering a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of Long Term Care or Supervisory experience.
• Current Michigan RN license; CPR certification.
• Strong analytical skills to develop personalized care plans and address problems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, provide direction and assignments, offer training, and participate in evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.

• Ensure completion of reports such as infection control, pharmacy compliance, and quality management.
• Promote hospitality and outstanding customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.

Shift Schedule:

• 8 hour shifts
• 2nd shift - 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 5 days per week, will include rotating weekends & some holidays

How you will help people every day:

• You will supervise the nursing team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• You will instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues
• You will ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with at least 2 years of Long Term Care or Supervisory experience.
• Current Nursing State of Michigan RN Registered Nurse License; current CPR certification.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
