Job summary

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing care and clinical operations in a facility providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. The successful candidate will be licensed as an RN or LPN by the Georgia State Board of Nursing, with preference given to those with geriatric or rehabilitative nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for Practical/Vocational Nursing or RN program.
• Experience preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing.

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is hiring a UNIT MANAGER (RN) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Unit Manager utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that overall management of the day-to-day clinical operations and the nursing care that is delivered to the residents. Delegates the coordination and implementation of resident clinical services to appropriate staff.

Requirements

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
