Job summary

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care patients. The LPN will collaborate with the Unit Director to implement individualized care plans and ensure high-quality patient care.

Leadership and supervision of nursing staff are part of the role. Qualifications include graduation from an approved LPN program and current Georgia licensure; prior geriatric or rehabilitative nursing experience is preferred.

Job description

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is hiring a LPN to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary:

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements:

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
