University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UM Shore Regional Health) is a regional, nonprofit, medical care network formed on July 1, 2013, through the consolidation of two University of Maryland Medical System partner entities, the former Shore Health and Chester River Health. As a member of UMMS, UM Shore Regional Health enhances its clinical programs and facilities and facilitates physician recruitment, providing world-class medical care to Maryland’s Mid-Shore residents.
The UM Shore Regional Health network serves Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot counties. It includes two hospitals — University of Maryland Shore Medical Centers at Chestertown and Easton — two emergency centers in Cambridge and Queenstown, UM Shore Medical Pavilions throughout the region, and outpatient services. UM Shore Regional Health also offers urgent care services in Denton and Easton via UM Urgent Care.

Demonstrate the ability to administer quality nursing care professionally, supporting patients and families using the nursing process, with coaching from team members. Practice aligns with System and Nursing Strategic Plans, Shared Leadership, and Relationship-Based Care principles. Practice within the Nurse Practice Act of Maryland and institutional policies, adhering to standards set by the American Nurses Association, including Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, and Specialty Nursing Standards.
