Job summary

Redlands Community Hospital in Redlands, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse with acute care experience to join our team. The RN will perform professional nursing duties in accordance with scope of practice and standards, and may lead others in the absence of a charge nurse.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, CA RN license, BLS, ACLS within 3 months, and NIHSS within 6 months. One year of acute care experience is preferred.

Job description

Hourly pay range: $48.51 min - $76.93 max

One year of Acute Care experience

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the staff RN performs professional role functions in accordance with scope of practice and professional standards, including demonstrating the knowledge and ability to use and/or lead the scope of practice, professional standards and accreditation / regulatory standards, scope of practice for LVN and allother nursing personnel e.g. unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the ability to assess their own professional role performance, current knowledge of theory and principles related to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use a population based approach to determine patient needs.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:

• 1. Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
• 2. Experience and/or training in leadership preferred, if acting as charge nurse.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

• 1. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• 2. Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
• 3. Current ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 3 months of hire.
• 4. Current NIHSS certificate required within 6 months of hire.
