Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week

Location: 200 N Lakemont Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792

The community you’ll care for:

• A hospital built for and by the community, with land donated by Winter Park.
• A 320-bed acute care facility, a model of community health and wellness, and a teaching hospital, offering educational opportunities and resources.
• Providing advanced care in Obstetrics, Level II Neonatal ICU, Emergency Services, Cancer Care, Surgical Services with 12 specialties, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Orthopedic Surgery, and Stroke and Ortho services.
• Winter Park is known for its charm, heritage, art galleries, parks, and recreational facilities, located just north of Orlando.

The unit you'll support:

• 20-bed unit with 4-5:1 Nurse to Patient Ratio
• Only fully dedicated ENT/Head and Neck Surgery unit in Central Florida
• Using Enhanced Recovery Pathway protocol for Colo-Rectal/Urology surgeries
• Trained to manage complex post-operative needs
• Award-winning team with recent recognitions
• Located near ICU, Rapid Response, VAS team, and Respiratory offices

The role you’ll contribute:

The RN is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect nursing care to specific age groups, utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating). Adheres to corporate compliance, rules, and regulations, and participates in delivering outstanding customer service with respect for all.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a nursing school
• Current Florida or multistate RN license
• BLS Certification
