Qualifications

• Assist during surgeries and endoscopies by managing equipment and documenting care.

Responsibilities Include

• Preparing patients for procedures, including vital signs, IVs, medication review, and patient education.
• Assisting during surgeries and endoscopies by managing equipment, supporting anesthesia, and documenting care.
• Monitoring patient conditions, communicating with the care team, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Providing post-procedure recovery support, discharge education, and patient advocacy.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing surgical suites, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Performing medication administration, specimen collection, and other medical interventions.
• Participating in performance improvement and ongoing professional development.
  

Qualifications Include

• Current RN license in the state or a compact license.
• Associate’s degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
• Experience in acute care, ICU, or PACU is preferred.
