Aaron Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chester, CT, seeks an experienced RN Supervisor for a part‑time night shift (11:00pm–7:00am). This role focuses on resident care oversight, staff guidance, and regulatory compliance within a 60‑bed facility.

Join a supportive team dedicated to high‑quality, resident‑centered care. The RN Supervisor will lead nursing staff on your shift, perform resident assessments, and ensure accurate documentation and smooth transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted CT RN license.
• Minimum 2 years' RN experience in long‑term care; supervisory or charge nurse preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to assess resident needs, coordinate care, and respond to changes in condition.
• Dependable with good attendance and ability to work as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage nursing staff on your shift — ensure care delivery meets standards and regulations.
• Perform or oversee resident assessments, monitor health status, and coordinate with physicians and care team.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance — resident records, care plans, incident reports, regulatory paperwork, shift handoffs.
• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges; coordinate with departments for smooth transitions of care.
• Provide direct nursing care during staffing shortages or emergencies (medications, treatments, IVs, specimens).
• Mentor and support assigned staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) and act as point of contact for staff and resident/family issues.
• Ensure unit compliance with facility policies and infection control standards.

• Mentor and support assigned staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), provide guidance, and act as point of contact for staff and resident/family issues.

• Ensure unit compliance with facility policies, state/federal regulations, safety and infection‑control standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as an RN in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment; supervisory or charge‑nurse experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to assess resident needs, coordinate care, respond to changes in condition, and make sound clinical judgments.

• Dependable, with good attendance and ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team.
