Job summary

Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Carthage, NY, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead nursing staff on the night shift and uphold high standards of patient care.

Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus, Daily Pay option, and comprehensive health coverage through Aetna. Requires 3+ years LTC experience and an active RN license.

Carthage Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor in Carthage, NY.

11 pm-7 am shifts: Full-Time (FT)

Duties

• Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families
• Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests
• Maintain a safe & clean working environment by implementing rules & regulations
• Ensure resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
• Manage documentation of resident care services
• Promote a cooperative relationship among health care teams

Requirements

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required
• Should be a strong and positive Team Director for all members of the staff
• Familiar with EHR and Prescribing programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Up to $50,000 in federal nursing incentives: Eligible RNs and LPNs at this facility may qualify for up to $40,000 in student loan repayment plus a $10,000 stipend through CMS’s Nurses for Nursing Homes program with a three-year service commitment. Subject to program eligibility, approval, and available funding.
