Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced, Level I Trauma Center recognized for exceptional teamwork and rapid, high-acuity care. Supported 24/7 by an experienced on-shift supervisor, along with a dedicated multidisciplinary team including surgical technicians, emergency service technicians, unit clerks, pharmacy staff, social workers, transport personnel, and our own team of attending physicians and providers. How you’ll contribute

• Evaluate— Independently evaluates and determines work assignments and evaluates job performance, recognizes achievements.
• Assigns and Directs Work—Covers call-offs, adjusts schedule as needed.
• Adjusts Grievances— Meets with employees to listen to and resolve employee issues and grievances.
• Discipline— Implements performance improvements including verbal counseling.
• Exercises Supervisory Authority—Develops and implements department and/or hospital policy; ensures all employees are trained in policy; exercises discretion, independent of policy to ensure proper function of department or subdepartment.
• Supervise staff delivering patient care within Emergency Services.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
