Job summary

Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Canandaigua, NY seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to manage nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license.
• Long-Term Care experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and strong team player.
• Basic computer skills to document care and communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
• Schedule and assign nursing staff to complete resident care requirements.
• Provide support to residents and families to establish a compassionate environment.
• Answer questions and requests to provide information to residents and staff.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Monitor confidential information processing to promote resident confidence.
• Audit resident and department records to manage documentation of care services.
• Maintain nursing supplies inventory and other duties as required.

Duties:

• Maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures

• Complete Resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
