Job summary

Preferred Care at Mercer is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead the clinical team in our 100-bed facility, with short-term and long-term residents. This role offers support from experienced regional nursing leadership and a path to success.

The RN Supervisor coordinates care, ensures standards of care, and mentors staff. A valid RN license and strong bedside manner are required. Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Must have a courteous and professional bedside manner with ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and clientele through sound decisions, diplomacy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• The RN Supervisor is accountable for the administrative, clinical, and professional development of facility personnel for the designated shift.
• Coordinates, directs, and oversees all aspects of the delivery of nursing care.
• Demonstrates leadership and relevant clinical experience.
• Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals; complies with orders in a timely manner.
• Conducts unit rounds, ensuring that clinical practices align with the facility's standards of care.
