Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medicine/Step Down Unit (10K). The role is FT (36 hours/week) with days 7a-7p.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for experienced nurses and a $7,500 sign-on bonus for new grads. Responsibilities include patient-centered care, care planning, treatments, and family education, within an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN or higher preferred.
• RN license in VA or a compact state, in good standing; BLS.
• RN for both new grads and experienced nurses.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care and education.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary team to monitor progress and ensure safety.
