Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem Nights in the Stepdown/ICU setting. The role emphasizes my responsibilities for adult and geriatric patient care using the Nursing Process, within California Nurse Practice Act guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have ICU/Stepdown/PCU experience, CA RN licensure, and current BLS; ACLS due within 90 days. NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days is required. CCRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year ICU/StepDown/PCU experience preferred.
• Current California RN license required.
• Current BLS (AHA) required; ACLS (AHA) required within 90 days of start.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire required.
• Basic Arrhythmia Certificate or 12-Lead EKG Certificate preferred.
• CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for adult and geriatric patient care using the Nursing Process within the California Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice and optimal patient outcomes in the ICU.
• Supervise all categories of nursing personnel.

Reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services, this position assumes the accountability of all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the guidelines of the State of California Nurse Practice Act. Accountable for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal patient outcomes in the ICU. Responsible for the supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.
