University Hospitals in Willoughby, OH is seeking registered nurses to join a fast-paced Step Down Unit. You will provide age-specific, relationship-based nursing care in a 30-bed unit with private and semi-private rooms, following the nursing process to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• 2+ years of RN experience preferred.

A Brief Overview

The UH Lake West Step Down Unit is a fast paced 30 bed unit that specializes in providing care to stable but critically ill patients of varying acuity. This unit is comprised of both private and semi-private rooms which are broken down into three Pods.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
