Job summary

NurseCore is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem shifts in the San Antonio and surrounding areas. If you're compassionate and dependable, we want you on our team.

Provide high-quality nursing care, pick up available per diem shifts in your local area, and adhere to Texas regulations while collaborating with RNs, physicians, and facility staff. Flexible scheduling and competitive pay are offered, with weekly and daily pay options where eligible.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• TB/PPD test or chest X-ray is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care in various settings.
• Pick up per diem shifts at facilities in your local area.
• Administer medications and treatments per care plans and facility policies.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare professionals.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
• Pick up available per diem shifts at facilities in your local area.
• Provide nursing care, treatments, and services according to patient care plans and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the LVN scope of practice.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professional.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, facility staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable Texas regulations.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or a license recognized for practice in Texas.
• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current TB/PPD test or chest X-ray,
