Job summary

NurseCore is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients across San Antonio and surrounding areas. The role involves picking up per diem shifts at local facilities, delivering high-quality nursing care, and adhering to patient care plans and facility protocols.

Ideal candidates have an active Texas RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and are comfortable working in multiple settings with collaboration across healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (active and unrestricted).
• CPR/BLS certification current and valid.
• TB/PPD test or chest X-ray current.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.
• Pick up available per diem shifts at facilities in your local area.
• Provide nursing care, treatments, and services according to patient care plans and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the LVN scope of practice.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professional.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, facility staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable Texas regulations.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.
