Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina (Gibsonville) seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. Shifts are 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am with every other weekend; an unrestricted RN license is required.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time staff. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, educate residents, and work with CNAs to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license required.
• Shifts: 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am with every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit; ensure staff can provide appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate physician orders.
• Conduct assessments and notify physicians of changes; implement and document new orders.
• Develop a care plan based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Select and institute nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

Some responsibilities of the RN may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Conduct assessments of the residents and notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident's condition and/or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident's assessment and the development of a care plan.
