Job summary

BAYADA Home Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a part-time basis in the Raleigh-Durham Senior Living office. The role focuses on per-visit home health care for adult and geriatric clients in Garner, Fuquay Varina, and South Raleigh areas.

Responsibilities include home visits, administering medications, wound care, and case management with documentation on a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Follow the designated care plan and patient needs.
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up with and document doctors’ orders.
• Conduct client assessments as necessary and participate in case management.
• Accurately document observations and interventions using an electronic touch pad tablet.

This office services our adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in senior living communities throughout Garner, Fuquay Varina, and South Raleigh areas.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
