Job summary

BAYADA Home Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Raleigh-Durham Senior Living office on a part-time, per-visit basis. You will service adult and geriatric clients in senior living communities throughout Wake County, providing care per prescribed plans.

The role requires a North Carolina RN license and at least one year of clinical experience. Home care experience is preferred; strong time management and communication skills are essential for independent patient

Qualifications

• A current North Carolina RN license is required.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable clinical experience.
• Home care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs.
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
• Administer medications, provide wound care, treatments and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow up on doctors' orders and document actions accurately.
• Perform client assessments as necessary and coordinate case management.
• Document observations and evaluations using a tablet-based system.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Makehome visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
