Job summary

LifePoint Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital‑Madison. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants, with a focus on patient-centered recovery and teamwork.

You’ll deliver direct and indirect care using the nursing process, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, support discharge planning, and contribute to high‑quality outcomes in a vibrant Madison setting.

Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification required or in progress.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (BSN/ADN/Diploma).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians and supervisors.
• Play a key role in discharge planning to support safe transitions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be a trusted partner in our patients’ recovery journeys. You will:

Qualifications and requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.

Additional requirements include:

• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
