Job summary

UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital-Madison is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with the care team to develop personalized plans and participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Six months of Medical/Surgical experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to create care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians and supervisors.
• Assist in discharge planning to support safe transitions.

How You'll Make An Impact

As a Registered Nurse, you'll be a trusted partner in our patients' recovery journeys. You will:

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process-Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation

Qualifications And Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.

Additional Requirements Include

• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
