Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. You will perform assessments, implement nursing interventions, and document care to ensure safety and quality.

The role supports 3x12 shifts (7a–7p) on a full-time basis, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a national healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN/ASN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care through assessments, nursing interventions, documentation and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Document medical necessity and nursing activities accurately and timely.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients.
• Perform timely Quality Improvement assessments.

How you'll contribute

as an employee of TRH Fort Worth you will join a team that embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. You will work with a team committed to ensure patients receive optimal medical attention and support. As a Registered Nurse you will be providing direct patient care through assessments, nursing interventions, documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify individual care needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Deliver care appropriate to the condition and age of each patient.
• Document medical necessity and nursing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients.
• Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail in clinical documentation is essential.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

a Registered Nurse passionate about patient care!

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Experience: Minimum one year RN experience required and six months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• License: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred. CRRN preferred.
