Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Smith, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Rehab on a FT Night shift. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team at a 50-bed facility in Fort Smith, AR.

Qualified candidates hold an Active AR RN license with compact state eligibility, BLS within 30 days of hire, and an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred).

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas or compact RN license required; if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new PSOR.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, administer treatments, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Provide care within a collaborative rehabilitation team alongside RNs.
• Implement plan-of-care interventions and contribute to patient wellbeing.
• Utilize hospital technology to support high-quality patient care.

What we are looking for:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Experience: One year previous experience preferred
• Licenses: Active Arkansas or compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Education: Associate's Degree required - Bachelor's Degree Preferred
