Job summary

Lovelace Health System's rehab unit in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Night Shift Rehab RN committed to high-quality patient care. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $12,000 and potential relocation assistance, with opportunities to lead and collaborate within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation setting.

The RN will be responsible for professional nursing practice, patient care, and staff management, with adherence to policies to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or nursing diploma required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire/transfer.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required by department.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 2 years of specialty nursing experience and 2 years general nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and staff management as assigned.
• May serve as Charge Nurse and ensure professional practice.
• Adhere to policies/regulations to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PALS
