Lovelace Rehab Hospital in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a New Graduate Nurse/RN to provide patient care under supervision. This role supports patients through the transition from student to licensed nurse and emphasizes safety and compliance with hospital policies.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree or Diploma of Nursing, with BLS within 14 days and NM licensure eligibility. A Graduate Nurse Permit or RN license from the NM Board of Nursing is required at start date.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Eligible for licensure by examination in NM.
• Graduate Nurse Permit or RN license issued by NM Board of Nursing at start date.
• Dual application to ETP Nurse Residency Program and the unit of choice.

Responsibilities

The Graduate Nurse provides nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of an RN. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or Diploma of Nursing
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Eligible for licensure by examination.
• Graduate Nurse Permit or RN license issued by the NM Board of Nursing at the time of start date.
• Dual application to the ETP Nurse Residency Program and the unit of choice.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
