Responsibilities

• Accurately administer prescribed medications and initiate intravenous therapies.
• Conduct thorough health assessments to identify client problems and needs, formulating and implementing individualized nursing care plans.
• Make daily resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status and to implement any required nursing interventions.
• Respond to resident and family concerns and ensure that each concern is documented, and a resolution is initiated or communicated to appropriate staff.
• Serve as a shift leader and a resource to other staff on the unit.
